Handlery Hotel

The contract there has been expired since 11/02/2008. The
Union has been negotiation with the Company for a new
contract. However, the Company has refused to meet our
demand in wage and benefit increases. Workers there have
not received a pay raise since July of 2007. We have been
having regular picket lines outside of the Hotel. The Hotel
is closed for a 3-month renovation since 11/23/2009. We
are also asking the customers not to patronize the Hotel to
support the workers there. Elizabeth Romero is the field
representative there.
